Alex bowling

We went to a bowling party this past weekend and neither girl had ever bowled before and Sam was in a mood and not interested but Alex was interested and ready to go. She totally rocked it. I was a proud mommy for sure.  She at one point droppe the ball and I of course sucked in air hoping it didn't land on her foot and she just laughed out loud hysterically.  She is growing up so fast and loves trying new things.

Sam and Soccer

 

 

Well Sam had a rough start this season with soccre but sure enough by the last game she was a rock star.  She just didn't like the boy refs talking to her. So we figured that out and worked through it.

One of the moms of the little girls on the team was always taking such fun pictures and she got these two of Sam.  The first one is when Sam's shoe came flying off and she calmly in the middle of the field sat down and put it back on.  So cute and such a precious picture.

She also got to kick off numerous times and she loved that too so that is her kicking off in the second picture.

So this summer we are going to focus on swimming and tennis and see if we should skip soccer in the fall or not.  Who knows...

A few Easter Pictures

I found a few Easter pictures on my phone and wanted to post them before I forgot (again!).

We had a super fun lunch at the parents club which was nice as no one had to cook or clean up. Then went back to my in laws house and let the kids play and went for golf cart rides and a hike.  The kids had a blast and were exhausted. 

Slumber Party

So Alex is currently in a phase where she does not like to fall asleep by herself which I must admit is kinda fun to snuggle but not every night.  And I feel bad but Dan is getting the majority of it.  She just wants her Daddy.  She also wakes up every morning calling for him. So cute.  So we have let them sleep together a few times to see how it works. And sometimes it does and sometimes it doesn't. We had not let them sleep together in Alex's room before (and she has a nice big full size bed) and it worked out great this time. They slept totally going the wrong direction but they didn't seem to mind.

Well last weekend the girls had lots of activities to go to soccer, an outdoor event, an easter egg hunt, etc.  Well since it was a miserable cold and wet weekend everything got cancelled except my friends sons 2nd birthday party. The girls love any reason to dress up so they both put on dresses with tights for the event.  So we had some fun with the camera before the party.

Erin and Dan night out

Dan and I were lucky enough to go to a Boys and Girls Club benefit one night (this is from late 2012)  and had such a fun time with my co-workers. It was a fantastic night for a great cause. We got to walk the red carpet.  Take a picture in front of the step-repeat which was a totally new experience for us.  We had a blast lookign at the silent auction items and bidding on a few. They had an amazing dinner.  Then after the presentation and live auction and super yummy dinner it turned into a casino night.  Dan and I really enjoyed our big night out.

All about Sam

Well Sam is learning to read, growing so fast, loves swimming, gymnastics and tennis, not a huge fan of soccer, pretty shy in certain situations and totally not in others.  She is such a joy and really makes me laugh on a daily basis with her antics. She loves her little sister however she wants to be the "line leader" at all times and now that Alex understands what that means we have to take turns.

She is also a little fashionista and loves to pick our her own outfits. Loves to run around naked while at home.
