Sam walking Chewy or Chewy walking Sam.....

Dan and I decided back in May (so right before Sam's first birthday) we really wanted some sort of video camera...So we got a Flip camera...Which we love and use all the time.... So I have been taking videos left and right and have yet to download any of them so thought I would share..This is Sam attempting to walk Chewy in the house...(We were getting ready to go for a real walk so we had put Chewys harness on and leash and Sam wanted to hold the leash)....This was about a month or so ago....Really they are so cute together!!! Enjoy!!!

Teeth, Teeth, Come out wherever you are!!!!

So last weekend we went 5 days of pure not sure the word I am looking for here...Exhaustion, frustration, sadness, uselessness...Okay that is a good start. Last Friday night it started..Sam just screamed when we tried to put her to bed...She had started the infamous teething. We went with little to no sleep Friday, Saturday, Sunday, Monday and Tuesday.... We asked all of our friends along the way what to try and what is not worth it and trust me we tried everything... With little results of relief..My poor baby...She just didn't know what to do with herself... We even went as far as took her to the minor emergency clinic Tuesday night to make sure she didn't have an ear infection or strep throat or anything else...Nope the doctor sent us on our way with the words of wisdom "Teething sucks!!!"...Really could have saved my $100 bucks....

Anyway by Wednesday she was back to our happy baby however no teeth ever popped through..They are there we can see them and feel them through her gums but they are taking their sweet time.

With all that non sleeping and working crazy hours we all got colds over this weekend..So we canceled all plans and had a nice quiet weekend of resting... Sorry no pictures of teeth since clearly we still have none...we officially still have teeth envy but the minute one pops up I will try my hardest to get a picture to share as we will be thrilled..

Baby pool and cool new hairdo

So a week or two ago we got out Sam's baby pool and decided to set it up one afternoon in the backyard so Sam could go swimming..It was like over 100 degrees so we lasted only 30 minutes or so but it was fun..

The best part was getting her ready I was lubing her up with sunscreen and now that she has some hair I wanted to make sure I got her scalp covered (as she will not keep a hat on) so I ended up making her hair all spiky so thought I would share that as it is pretty funny.

She did like the pool and Chewy even was intrigued with the pool. We at some point threw Chewy in and of course Sam got a big laugh out of that..Sam thinks anything Chewy does is funny..

4th of July

Well we had a super busy 4th of July...

Friday I had the day off and Sam had the day off from school but Dan had to work so we spent the day at GG and Papa Johns house. It was so hot we went to Toys r us and let Sam run around for almost an hour just to let her run off some energy and then we found a cute little kids area in the shopping center..We only lasted about 15 minutes but I did manage to get a cute pic of her and Papa John.

They are in a cute little kid house, yeah that is probably why that bench looks so little my dad is sitting on..hehe

Then we met my in laws and hubby for dinner for grandpa's birthday dinner...He chose Uncle Julio's for his dinner which of course is always a big hit with us...yummy..

As you can see in the picture above Sam did not want to sit still for pictures she was running all over the place..However everyone else looks good so thought I would share..

Then on Saturday we had lunch at my brother's in-law's and had such a good time..Love the KFC and lots of laughing..What more could you ask for? Here are a few pictures from the afternoon.

Well I have several of this shot with Sam looking one way or Alyson looking another but finally I started singing ITSY BITSY SPider (which Dan will tell you I don't know the words to) and they both looked up so innocently and now this might be my new favorite picture of the two girls...LOVE IT!!

My brother Erik was showing us one of his new talents and he uses Alyson and does bench presses..It is the cutest thing ever and she cracks up but no wonder his arms are all defined...Mine would be too if I could bench press Sam...
