New backyard toy

So we had our backyard done in the Spring (I know I still have my before and after pictures to put into a post) and Grandma and GRandpa wanted to get us an outdoor toy for the girls to play with. So they decided on a basketball goal. It has been a huge hit.

Sam and Dan were playing a friendly game.

Then Alex decided it was her turn and she just dunked it and then held onto the rim..HAHAHAHAH

Dance recital pictures

So we had Dance recital pictures and right now Sam is way hit or miss on whether she will cooperate on getting her picture taken so had no idea how these would turn out. We went with Sophie (one of Sam's besties from school) and her mom Kathryn to get the pictures taken. They turned out super cute so will have to scan them in.

Here is the one from my camera.

Aly's 4th Birthday

So April is Aly's birthday. She had her 4th birthday party and Sam had a blast. I think Sam's favorite place is Pump it up and it showed. She loved running aroudn with Aly and bouncing like crazy. Heck Aly even talked Papa John (my Dad) into going down one of the slides. Really struck us as funny. Not sure why. So cute.

Here is Sam and Dan coming out of one of the obstacle courses. They had so much fun.

Sam popping up at the top of the slide at the end of the obstacle course.

Sam and Dan coming down the slide together.

Erik and Aly coming down the slide.

Papa John and Alex and Uncle Steve (to my girls but PiPier to Erik's girls) with Kendall. Cute pic!

Dan got tired so it was my turn to do the obstacle courses with Sam. It was exhausting.

Me with Aly and Sam. What a great party. Thanks for having us to your 4th birthday Aly!!

Superhero Birthday party

We attended our dear friends Chuck and Jenny's dear sweet boys birthday party. It was a superhero theme at a gymnastics place and man it was a lot of fun. There was so much to do and our friend Jenny has such a great eye for all the details. It started when we got there with Sam getting a pink superhero cape (that she refused to wear until we got home) on to all the fun gymnastics stations, to a face painter to amazing food and cupcakes, then on to the party bags (including a spiderman ice pack). Will and Adam turned 5 and 3 respectively.

Sam getting warmed up on the obstacle course..She ran around so much she was exhausted when we left.

By the end of it Sam did the swing on a rope thing and drop into a pool of sponges. I was so proud of her.She did it with a little help from DAddy.

Family picture at the end of the party. Sam just wants to go play some more which explains why she is not cooperating in the picture.
As soon as we walked in the door at home Sam put the cape on and ran around the house. She loves the cape.
It was a super fun party and so glad we were able to be a part of it.

Alex's Baptism

Yes I am yet again playing catch up. I am not sure I will ever be truly caught up but I sure am trying.

Back in late March we had Alex's baptism at Dan's folks church (same place we had Sam's baptism) It was a beautiful day and Alex was a total trooper. It turned out to be a pretty cold day but we enjoyed it all none the less.

Also in the middle of the sermon the pastor came to a very good point and paused and Alex was playing peek-a-boo with her Aunt Steph and let out a big giggle and that drew a huge laugh from the crowd and a shout out from the pastor. Pretty cute.

Here are a few pictures from it.

We had a gorgeous lunch after church at my inlaws. Thanks guys for letting us have that at your house...
