White Christmas Eve

So this year Dan had Christmas Eve off and I was thrilled. He had not ever had it off in the 5 plus years we have been together so it was time. We have the whole family over on Christmas Eve to help celebrate along with our dear neighbors who were not able to get home for the holidays...

So during the day we got the house ready by setting up extra tables and rearranging furniture so we could play ping pong again and of course cooking. So Dan, Sam and I had a very busy and fun day before the family even got over. IT started snowing around 2 o'clock so after Sam woke up from her nap we bundled her up and put her boots on and we all went outside to see what she thought of the pretty snow..she took off and loved it...

So after our little adventure outside we all warmed up and got dressed before everyone came over.. Well really we just changed Sam into a fun cute little dress with tights.

Here are a few pictures of us all all dressed and ready before the family got there.

And then thought I would add these two as they are just classics.

This is what she does when you ask her to smile.... She smiles and squinches her eyes closed. I think she thinks by opening her mouth to smile it closes her eyes aitomatically...hehehe

And this one was right after we had let her touch the ornaments on the tree for the first time..She thought she wasnt' supposed to but we didn't mind since we were sitting right next to her. She enjoyed touching all the ones she could reach....
